# Selan Reactor on your phone

Selan Reactor is the phone app for Reactor, where your company runs its Selan agents. Away from your desk, you can see how your agents are doing, answer the one that is waiting on you, stop a run that went wrong, or ask about any of it in a chat or on a call.

Get started

## How do I install it?

Install [Selan Reactor from Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.selan.reactor). It runs on Android 10 or later, on a phone in portrait. It is not on the App Store yet.

[![Get it on Google Play](https://selan.ai/docs/phone-app/get-it-on-google-play.png)](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.selan.reactor)

You need a Selan account in a company that has Reactor turned on. Chats and calls use your company's Selan credits, as they do in Reactor on the web.

## How do I sign in?

Tap **Sign in on selan.ai**. The app opens selan.ai in your browser, where you sign in with Google or Microsoft as you do on the web, and then brings you back to the app. The app never sees your password.

If you work in more than one Selan company, sign in to each and switch between them on the **Account** tab. **Sign out** there removes that account, and everything the app kept for it, from the phone.

On the phone

## Pick a workspace

The **Reactor** tab lists your workspaces. Each row starts with what needs a look, such as a question waiting for you or a run that failed, followed by the first line of the workspace's recap. Tap a row to open the workspace.

The Reactor tab. The workspaces and agents are sample data.

## Read the recap and how each agent's last run ended

A workspace opens on whatever is waiting on you, then its recap of the last 24 hours: what its agents did and how many runs there were. Below that is every agent in the workspace, with how its last run ended. Tap an agent to open its own page.

![The Default workspace. Under Waiting on you, Coder Agent asks whether you can renew the GitLab connector, with an Answer box and Resume. Under Last 24 hours, the recap of 134 runs](https://selan.ai/docs/phone-app/2-workspace.webp)

A workspace: a question first, then the recap.

## Open a run, read what it did, and stop it

Open a run to read what the agent was asked, what it answered, and every step it took on the way, tool calls included. A run that is still going has a **Stop** button. The app tells you what stopping will do, and you confirm with **Stop run** or change your mind with **Keep running**.

## Answer the questions agents ask you

When an agent is blocked on something only a person can do, it stops and [asks a question](https://selan.ai/docs/mcp#questions). The question waits at the top of its workspace and on the agent's page. **Details** opens what the agent tried. Type your answer and tap **Resume**, and the agent carries on from where it stopped. **Drop question** closes it without an answer.

Each question also arrives as a push notification on the phone of everyone who can answer it. Tapping the notification switches to the right account and opens the question. Once the question is answered or dropped, here or anywhere else, the notification goes away. Turn notifications on or off with the **Notifications** row on the Account tab.

An agent waiting on you, on its own page.

## Chat with the workspace's Expert

The **Chat** tab is a chat with the workspace's Expert, the agent you ask about your runs, agents and connectors. You can watch its steps as it works, and it changes nothing until you approve what it proposes. The tab lists your chats, so you can go back to any of them.

The tab appears when your company has the Expert turned on. A message can carry photos and files as well as text: see [what a message can carry](#message).

![A chat with Support Agent. Asked why Coder Agent failed this morning, it made 4 tool calls, then answered that the GitLab connector's sign-in had run out and listed two steps to fix it](https://selan.ai/docs/phone-app/4-chat.webp)

A chat: the question, the Expert's tool calls and its answer.

## Call Selan by voice and read the call afterwards

On the **Voice** tab, tap **Call Selan** and talk about your agents, or ask it to do something in Reactor. Any change waits until you confirm it on screen. The app asks for the microphone the first time and uses it only during a call you start. The call carries on with the screen off or while you use another app, under a call notification with **Mute** and **Hang up**.

Each call is saved to your Selan account with its transcript and listed in the tab, where you can open it to read it back. To delete a call, swipe it away or use the bin on its transcript. The tab appears when your company has Voice turned on.

![The Voice tab: a Call Selan button, then today's calls, each with its topic, length, how many tools it used and how it ended](https://selan.ai/docs/phone-app/5-voice.webp)

The Voice tab and today's calls.

![A call with Selan Voice. You asked for help planning release notes, Selan offers to draft the first line, and the call has Mute and End buttons](https://selan.ai/docs/phone-app/6-call.webp)

A call, with its words appearing as they are said.

Details

## What can a chat message carry?

As well as up to 4,000 characters of text, one chat message can carry:

- Up to four photos. Pick them from your photos, take one with the camera, or paste one into the message.
- Up to four files of any type, each up to 10 MiB.

A message's photos and files can add up to 20 MiB at most. If a file is too big, the app turns it away and tells you which one. The Expert reads the photos and files along with your message.

Before sending a photo, the app scales it to at most 1568 pixels on its longest side and saves it again as a JPEG from the pixels alone, so no location or other camera details go with it. The app asks for no access to your storage or your camera: you pick each photo and file in Android's own picker, and the camera is Android's own camera app.

## What does the app send, and where?

- **Your account.** You sign in on selan.ai, and the app keeps your session encrypted on the phone under an Android Keystore key. It sends the session with every request to Selan. Nothing the app keeps is backed up.
- **Chats and answers.** What you write in a chat, its photos and files, the changes you approve or turn down, and your answers to agents go to Reactor, which hands them to the agent. The agent's model comes from the provider your company connected. The phone keeps your list of chats, encrypted, but no conversation inside a chat, and no photo or file once it is sent.
- **Calls.** Your voice goes from the phone straight to ElevenLabs, which runs the voice agent. Selan never gets the audio, and none of it is written to the phone. After the call, the app sends Reactor what was said and which tools were used, and Reactor saves it to your account. The phone keeps no copy.
- **Question notifications.** Reactor sends each one through Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging. It carries the agent's name and the start of its question, never the question's details or an answer. To get them, the app registers the phone's notification token with Reactor, and signing out removes it.
- **Crash reports.** If the app crashes or hits an error it did not expect, it sends a report to Sentry in the EU, without your name, your email or anything you typed or said.
- **Nothing else.** The app has no ads, no tracking and no analytics library, and it does not read your location or contacts.

The [privacy policy](https://selan.ai/privacy#mobile-apps) says who receives what and for how long. To have your data deleted, see [deleting your account](https://selan.ai/privacy#delete-account), or delete a single call in the app.
