### What it does

Selan runs your company's AI agents: deploy checks, log watchers, QA sweeps, release notes. With the Slack app they read the channels you invite them to, post results, and answer when you reply.

-   **Each agent posts under its own name.** You can tell which agent wrote what.
-   **Every post has a footer.** It names who asked and links to the run, so nothing an agent does is anonymous.
-   **Reply in the thread to wake the agent.** It picks the conversation up where it left off.
-   **Agents only see channels the bot is invited to.** Invite it to a channel, or remove it, whenever you like.

### How to install

1.  Select **Add to Slack** above. It opens Selan's Connections page.
2.  Sign in as an owner of your Selan company and select **Add to Slack** there.
3.  Approve the app for your workspace in Slack.
4.  Invite the bot to the channels you want your agents to work in.

Disconnecting in Selan, or uninstalling the app in Slack, revokes the token and deletes what we hold. Setup details are in the [Slack docs](https://selan.ai/docs/mcp-connections#slack-bot).
